Is the cable you are using a null modem cable or a modem cable

Is there any difference between a null modem cable or a modem cable ?

yes, i have done a search on the itnernet and found it is a different one..
i see the definition from google that a null modem cable is a cable that do not need modem to co mmunicate with other party, and i assume that it is a null modem cable i can use for.

anyway,thks for your reply...
