hey everyone,
i'm having a little problem with my dbx debugger.
the problem is that when i try to print a struct it print it as a struct from another type. i even tried casting the struct to its type and it still print it as the other type..

I try the command:ulimit -c unlimited, I even added it to the .bashrc file.And I removed ulimit setting in /etc/init.d/function. And there's no ulimit setting in /etc/profile. And I tried sudo find /... (8 Replies)

hello every one,
I am trying to debug a pro*c program which is resulting in a core dump. It used to work fine in with Oracle 10g precompiler but is causing a core dump with 11g. When I run dbx here is what I get.

by what name does a core dump file stored???
like i wrote a test code:
//dump.c
main()

char *p=NULL;
printf("%s",p);
}
of course the above code will produce a segmentation fault. but i cant see any file named core in my CWD. am using SUN0S 5.9 (6 Replies)
