Server interface ip question

Hi Guys,
can two interfaces on a server have two different ip addresses?

Are you talking about a Sparc or x86 platform?

SPARC or x86 doesn't make any difference in that case.

Back to the original question, not only two network interfaces can but they must have different IP addresses, at least when they are both up and shared by the same IP stack.

you can have as many ip addresses as you want, one for each interface or virtual interface, but remember, only one defaultrouter.

Unless you are using containers, in which case you might have custom default routers per zone.
