Is there any tools in centos6.5 to 6.9 can get hardware like Motherboard Serial, mac address and Processor in basic installations. This will for the encryption and generate license in application.

We have a old Power4 server with AIX version 5.3 installed. Upon boot up, it hangs right after the AIX welcome screen. On the diagnostic load progress LED indicator, I saw that it stopped at '0c32' then after awhile the LED would be blank. The screen on the monitor will hang at the black... (15 Replies)

I've somehow gained the idea that I _need_ to run at least 1 box with Solaris, but things don't go as I had planned :-)

I want to install Solaris 9 on SUN ULTRA 10. The cdrom is attached to an ide controller. The server is currently running Solaris 2.6

just put blank harddisk in my ultra10. i see no display to show me the

my redhat 9 will not boot. We had a power failure and when the power came back, my redhat linux will not boot.

I watched this done a long time ago, but cannot find it anywhere. I need to alias the boot device "disk" to /sbus@7,0/QLGC,isp@0,10000/sd@c,0
I think I need to set "use-nvramrc?" to true, and then create an alias within the nvramrc to point disk to the boot disk, but this is the step I cannot... (3 Replies)
