Solaris 10, Samba 358 doesn't work after patching

Hi Forum,

I updated my Solaris 10 (10/09) with the current Oracle patch file and moved the smb.conf to /etc/samba/smb.conf.

Anyway, since patching, no Windows client is able to connect the share. It says password is wrong, but its the right pw.

My smb.conf:
bash-3.00# cat /etc/samba/smb.conf
workgroup = samba
netbios name = sambaserver
interfaces = eth0

path = /share
writeable = yes
browsable = yes

The user name is "share" and exists in the passwd.

smbstatus shows the version and 'No locked files'

Any ideas?

I don't know what to do Smilie

is this a working solaris 10 samba server before? in solaris, network interfaces are not named like ethX like in linux... am just wondering...

can the windows machine ping the machine? what says:
 # ifconfig -a

try restarting the samba service:
# svcadm restart svc:/network/samba:default
