Sorry to spam the board with all my Solaris 2.6 questions (I just found this forum). My most recent problem is that not ALL failed log-ins are getting logged in /var/log/authlog. i've been able to log incoming telnet and ssh connections on solaris 9 using the following lines in /etc/syslog.conf

Folks;
i have mysql installed on Solaris box (sparc).
The problem is under /opt/mysql/data directory, there's a log file that grows very fast & becomes a huge size.
Is there a way to stop the logging under the data directory so i don't have the issue of running out of space?
