SUN Solaris 9 - Is there a 2GB file size limit?
Hi
I am using SUN/Solaris 9 and I was told that some unix versions have 2GB size limit.
Does this applies to SUN/Solaris 9?

It does not. Sun has a nice filesystem summary on sunsolve.


OS Release Single file File system
Solaris 2.5.1 2 GB 1 TB
Solaris 2.6 - 9 12/02 (U3) ~1012 GB 1 TB
Solaris 9 08/03 (U4) and later ~1023 GB 16 TB
