Data Migrate from MPXIO to Powerpath

Here is the issue:

I am building a database server using Solaris 10x86 U8.
The system is jumpstarted with mpxio enabled and booting from the san.

We need to have powerpath 5.3 installed and would like to have powerpath take control of the the boot san as well or have mpxio control the san boot drive and powerpath control any other san drive connected.

Anyone else already try this?
Any tips or anything at all?!

I have never done this before so take what I'm suggesting with a grain of salt. Smilie

I sounds like to need to do something like this:
  1. install the bootblock on one the internal drives
  2. change the EEPROM to boot from that internal drive
  3. boot the system from the internal drive
  4. unconfigure MPxIO (requires a reboot)
  5. install PowerPath (probably requires a reboot)
  6. attempt to boot from the san drive

Thanks Bluescreen,

That would actually work unfortunately we don't have any internal drives which is causing me a lot of headaches.
