how to configure modem

hi,
can u pls help to configure modem on SUN system for the inbound dialing.....so that i can connect to the system remotely through modem..........thx

See configuring high-speed dialup on Solaris 7/8 - it has info on dial in.

If you can get to the desktop on the system console(if you have a graphics card, key board and mouse) you can get to a terminal and type in "admintool", then browse the serial ports and configure them that way.

Also is you can get the SMC working you can configure the ports that way.

What kind of system are you useing?
