Accessing software's GUI from CDE

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know if any installed software on solaris can be accessed with GUI on CDE. I just installed putty from sunfreeware.com and try accessing it but no way to access it's GUI.

Thanks,
Deepak

you need an application that can handle x windowing. an application like exceed or cygwin can handle this for you. however, you need to setup putty to allow x windowing to your current session. see PuTTy X Window Configuration for some help.
