Logical domain Vs Zone

Hi All,

I would like to know the major difference between Ldomain vs zone & which one is the best for the production enviornment.

In a simple language Ldomain is used for hardware visualization where in zone is for virtual on OS like your Vmware and all . Means the Ldomain is only possibel with hinged system where you got multiple resource. in case of zone u can create the same with a box which got single CUP!!!

For production its depend what all you have to configure and requirement and availability

this depends on your needs... and your hardware... and and and...

Both are best in a production environment. Zones are often used in ldoms.

ldoms can be more "expensive" than zones.
But ldoms are 'more reliable'
