I am using compaq t5207tu model with 60gb harddisk and 2.5gb RAM.Its dual boot-Windows XP and Solaris. I tried installing SUN xVM on solaris to make client -server architecture (32 bit processor and 32 bit OS ) -guest OS (solaris 10)on host OS(Solaris 10). But whenever i try to install virtualbox, i get following below error...Plz advice

Code:
executing postinstall script.
Configuring VirtualBox kernel modules...
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: vboxdrv
Warning: Driver (vboxdrv) successfully added to system but failed to attach
can't load module: No such device or address
## Aborting due to attach failure.
## Configuration failed. Aborting installation.
pkgadd: ERROR: postinstall script did not complete successfully

Installation of <SUNWvbox> partially failed.

Hi,

Why should i be using shared folder ? I am not using it in any network. its only for isolated system. i have downloaded virtualbox 2.0.4.tar.gz from virtualbox.org as my processor and OS is 32 bit. i copied it to opt ...used gunzip and tar cmds... then pkgadd -d -G VirtualBoxKern.....package which downloaded successfully then installed another package called VirtualBox-2.0.4-SUNOS..... which gives above error. Plz advice

provide output of
$isainfo
$ modinfo|grep -i vbox
$ grep vbox /etc/name_to_major
contents/errors in /var/adm/messages

maybe you should first download the newest version of virtualbox and try again...
