Configure network card in Sun Solaris 10 for Dell Optiplex 745
Dear All,

I am a beginner of Sun Solaris. Now I install Sun Solaris 10 on my machine Brand Dell optiplex 745. When i complete installation I found no Network Card
in my computer by using command ifconfig -a, I found only loopback Adapter.
Could anyone help me to solve this problem?

Which brand is the network card? You might have to install appropriate drivers to be able to use it, assuming such drivers exist for solaris ...

Thank for your reply and my Network card brand name is Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller. Could you help me to install this driver in sun solaris?

You have to download the driver from broadcom, I know they have it in a solaris pkg format, I had to use it recently on an HP DL580 server...
install (pkgadd) the drivers and reboot ...
After that it depend if you use dhcp or static ip ...

Hum not all broadcom cards...
The Broadcom Ethernet NIC NetXtreme II 1 Gigabit Driver is provided exept for the 57710 chipset and not the netlink 57xx nic

Now i just download driver Broadcom NIC from its Official site. So i will try to set and configure it. Thanks for you help...
