Problem Accessing disk

Basically I´m Absolutely New to Opensolaris (Started Using It This Morning),
I´m Following A Tutorial On How To Access NTFS Partitions.
Device Driver Utility Finds It And Says Everythings Fine With It
DISK : ST3160022ACE
Capacity : 160G
Driver : cmdk
Path : /dev/rdsk/c4d0s2

But When I Run fdisk /dev/rdsk/c4d0s2 It Says :
¨fdisk: Cannot open device /dev/rdsk/c4d0s2.¨

I Know This Will Be An Annoying Nooby Mistake But Please Help Smilie

why will you run "fdisk" on a disk with an ntfs filesystem?
# 3
Old 02-26-2009
Because I Wanted To Determine The Partition Is The NTFS Partition, Plus The Tutorial Said To Do It.

Heres The Link To It: Mounting Windows' NTFS on [Open]Solaris x86/x64 : Giri Mandalika's scratchpad

although im trying to mount a ide hardrive not usb

try "fdisk /dev/rdsk/c4d0p0"

also run "devfasadm -Cv" and "devfsadm -v" to clear unused device entries on your system.
