Question solaris 10 errors mount external usb Harddisk zfs on a nas without cdrom

Hi,

I try to mount an external USB HD on a solaris 10 without any success.

Machine hardware: i86pc
OS version: 5.10
Processor type: i386
Hardware: i86pc

The HD is a zfs, but I installed this with a Ubuntu 8.10.

iostat -En displays this:
Quote:
c8t0d0 Soft Errors: 5 Hard Errors: 0 Transport Errors: 0
Vendor: Hitachi Product: HDP725025GLA380 Revision: A5CA Serial No:
Size: 250.06GB <250059350016 bytes>
Media Error: 0 Device Not Ready: 0 No Device: 0 Recoverable: 0
Illegal Request: 5 Predictive Failure Analysis: 0
--> so the system sees this HD.

I tryed all the following, without any success:

zpool import

mount -F ufs /dev/dsk/c8t0d0p1 /mnt

/etc/init.d/volmgt stop
/etc/init.d/volmgt start
--> does not help.

Cannot run a live cd because this sun does not have a reader.

Can anyone help me please?
