Hey hi all,

I just recently encountered these question regarding patch installation, the scenario is like these that i have three patches a,b,c and each of them require a server reboot.And I don't have to reboot the server three times..i can reboot it only once.. so what should i do ?

Mine Answer :- I said that install these patches at once and then take the reboot or find a cluster containing these patches and install the cluster.

Actually i am new to solaris, and i don't have much idea of patches.. please correct me if i am wrong

You could try following the instructions provided with each patch. It might be OK to boot to single-user mode, install the 3 patches then reboot but the absolute correct method would depend on what the patches are for.
