libCVD is a very portable and high performance C++library for computervision, image, and video processing. The emphasisis on providing simpleand efficient image and video handling and highquality implementationsof common low-level image processing function. Thelibrary is designedin a loosely-coupled manner, so that parts can beused easily inisolation if the whole library is not required.The video grabbingmodule provides a simple, uniform interface forvideos from a varietyof sources (live and recorded) and allows easyaccess to the raw pixeldata. Likewise, the image loading/saving moduleprovides simple, uniforminterfaces for loading and saving images frombitmaps to 64 bit perchannel RGBA images. The image processing routinescan be applied easilyto images and video, and accelerated versionsexist for platformssupporting SSE.
