MySQL 5.0.67 (Production (5.0.x) branch)

MySQL is a widely used and fast SQL databaseserver. It is a client/server implementation thatconsists of a server daemon (mysqld) and manydifferent client programs/libraries. License: GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:
To enable stricter control over the location from which user-defined functions can be loaded, the plugin_dir system variable has been backported from MySQL 5.1. The FEDERATED storage engine is now disabled by default in the .cnf files shipped with MySQL distributions. Because NDB_LE_MemoryUsage.page_size_kb shows memory page sizes in bytes rather than kilobytes, it has been renamed to page_size_bytes. Some changes were made to CHECK TABLE ... FOR UPGRADE and REPAIR TABLE with respect to detection and handling of tables with incompatible .frm files.Image

NAME
msql2mysql - convert mSQL programs for use with MySQL SYNOPSIS
msql2mysqlC-source-file ... DESCRIPTION
Initially, the MySQL C API was developed to be very similar to that for the mSQL database system. Because of this, mSQL programs often can be converted relatively easily for use with MySQL by changing the names of the C API functions. The msql2mysql utility performs the conversion of mSQL C API function calls to their MySQL equivalents. msql2mysql converts the input file in place, so make a copy of the original before converting it. For example, use msql2mysql like this: shell> cp client-prog.c client-prog.c.orig shell> msql2mysql client-prog.c client-prog.c converted Then examine client-prog.c and make any post-conversion revisions that may be necessary. msql2mysql uses the replace utility to make the function name substitutions. See replace(1). COPYRIGHT
