PySchoolClock is an alarm clock that checks yourlocal school closing listings on the Internet. Ifyour school is closed, the alarm clock lets yousleep in.License: GNU General Public License v3Changes:
Major improvements to the documentation, including the addition of a quickstart guide. A separate Windows version with an "exe" file has been created. The school name is no longer case sensitive. Alarm time can be entered in either "HH MM" format or "HH:MM" format. A bug that would break the snooze alarm after 23:00 has been fixed. There is minor code cleanup.Image

crontab+mplayer alarm clock

sanduhr - an alarm clock, which is designed as a sand-glass SYNOPSIS
sanduhr [options] [timespec] DESCRIPTION
sanduhr is an alarm clock for the X Window System which uses (and requires) the GNOME desktop environment. Click with button 3 on the SandUhr window to get a menu. The syntax of timespec is explained in the online manual, which is available from SandUhr's help menu. OPTIONS
The program understands the following command line options. --help shows a usage message. --message=MSG Set the alarm message to MSG. --show-control Shows the control center window on start-up. FILES
