Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) which of the standard shells most resembles the Korn shell (ksh). It includes enhancements of many types, notably in the command-line editor, options for customising its behaviour, filename globbing, features to make C-shell (csh) users feel more at home and extra features drawn from tcsh.

Changes:
This version contains both bugfixes and improvements. Further progress has been made in support for multibyte character sets. In most cases, this is thought to be stable, although a few glitches remain. Combining characters are still not supported. There have been enhancements to the module system to allow selective loading. There is a new module for access to the curses screen manipulation package.
