Installing SW asking me to update GLIBC..HELP!
Hi,
I am trying to install OpenFT and got the following message:
usmlva0001tsrv:/mnt/iso/linuxi64 # ./install.all
error: Failed dependencies:

The current version of GLIBC has the following version:
usmlva0001tsrv:/mnt/iso/linuxi64 # /lib/libc.so.6
GNU C Library stable release version 2.11.1 (20100118), by Roland McGrath et al.
Copyright (C) 2009 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
My version of Suse:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11
PATCHLEVEL = 1
My questions are:
It is safe to update the GLIBC?
Any special procedure to update the GLIBC?
Something I need to be worry about?
