Mail option didn't work .. lets say i have some other shell code written next to the line of " No Values present " .. whether this shell script should also comeout . i mean the whole processing is completely done !!

If you really need to mix shell and perl,
you could use something like this:

chop $F[1]; 
if ($t gt $F[1]) { 
  $c++;
  print; 
}
if (eof and !$c) {
  print "No values present!\n";
  exit 1;
}' file|| ... your code here ...

Yeah it is a question !! i tried to run the above shell script .. It was able to Print " No Values Present "

But here are the issues ::

1)It is not able to break the loop once it prints "No Values Present " . Since i have some shell written after that Perl statements

2) i am not able to send any Email with the subject as " NO key values are Present ""
