I have a log file which have a date and time at the start of every line.
I need to search the log file starting from a specific time to the end of file.
For example:
Starting point: July 29 2018 21:00:00
End point : end of file

I have created this script
#!/bin/sh
FILES=/data/log/access_*.log
for f in $FILES
do
echo "Processing $f file"
cat $f | awk '{print $1}' | sort | uniq -c | sort -n | tail
done
It produces this output
Processing /data/log/access_abc.log file
114 1.1.1.1
167 2.2.2.2
