Need assistance using awk .

Need assistance in awk programming.

Any idea of getting the marked data into a file.

Why AWK?

I tried the below command . but i want to use awk program .

If your grep supports -o, that's another option:

$ grep -o "<a href[^>]*>" file
<a href='/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?mimicKey=&doclookupId=317626164'>
