Max size directory

Hi
I know that a perticular direxctory is cosuming max space .

Code:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
nfsfi02:/vol/fivol2/Dir2/dir
                     104857600 92671400 12186200 89% /fs/dir

I want to know which sub directory is consuming max space in this problematic directory /itf/ude

Any command please?

I wasn't aware that directories had a "max space" beyond the filesystem running out of blocks or inodes.

You can try using du -sh *. When you find the sub-directory, you can cd into that and do the same, until you find the one you're after.

List all folders, sorted in megabyte
Code:
du -m /it/u00 | sort -nr | more

Test it on a location with few files to see if it works.
You can try to send du to a file and then look at it.
Eks
Code:
du -m /fs/dir1 >size.txt
