Question SCO UNIX to Linux migration

hi all
i m working in a company ...and i have to migrate a C application running on SCO-UNIX to Red hat linux.
can anybody tell me what is the difference between C commands and shell scripting on SCO-UNIX and LINUX.

Hi vikey,

what SCO Unix Version are you using ? I also migrated some time ago, an Unixware application to RedHat Linux ... my experience was, SCO didn't fullfill all POSIX standards so I had to implement some parts for linux new, but mostly it worked fine.

With more details I could help you much more I think ...

actually we have to move from SCO-UNIXWARE 7.x to RED HAT Linux-4.0
please suggest me somthing about that if u have some document related please mail me at <removed>

How can i get start both sco unix and turbo linux?

I think and believe that i could start both the two OS from HardDisk until i installed Turbo Linux after the SCO unix .
