editing files.

hello,
i have a problem.
suppose

file.txt
Quote:
how are you?
call me.
i am waiting.
looking around.
how old are you?
i want to add lines over those lines in a file if it starts and ends with how and "?" respectively.

i want output like

output
file.txt
Quote:
#asking
#question
how are you?
call me.
i am waiting.
looking around.
#asking
#question
how old are you?
thanks

actually am new to this shell scripting so after taking an hour or so i wrote the below program.. phew Smilie Smilie.. its very lengthy though
