Any ideas ??

so you mean the second line?

Code:
1 ==============================
2 last mountzou
3 mountzou pts/23       Wed Sep 14 13:37 - 14:06  (00:29)
4 mountzou pts/23       Wed Sep 14 12:21 - 12:45  (00:24)
5 mountzou pts/31       Wed Sep 14 11:36 - 11:42  (00:05)

6 WTMPS_FILE  begins at Wed Sep 14 04:02:07
7 ===============================

Code:
head -n 2 inputFile | tail -1

or

awk 'NR==2{print} inputFile

or

sed -n '2 p' inputFile

--ahamed
