Your code is sorting each column individually. The O/P wants the pairs sorted. For instance, the first 22 is paired with 55 and the second 22 is paired with 555, thus column one in the output should start 22,22 and the second column should be 55,555 which match their pair from the input.

The complete output for the second column in the first data row should be:

not just the sorted elements.
