monitoring the count in table
Hi
I need to write a script to monitor if we see no new transaction coming in within an hour in a table example <table1> for column1 .
please guide

Question monitoring the count in atable
Hi thegeek

Need to write scripts which monitors the count in a table for a particular table with a code
ex
select count(*),<column1> from <table1> group by coumn1;
If column1 has 3 codes 'AA','BB' ,'CC'
If after executing the statement AA= 100 , BB=78 , CC=120 .
But my problem is i need to write a script for this such that each hour this table for colum code 'AA' 'BB' 'CC' will check if the got any new records in the last one hour .So their need to be change in the query too in terms of sysdate comaprison .....
Dont know even how to start as i am very new .
In crontab we need to put someting ......
