gcc compiler
I am using open suse linux. I want to install gcc compiler in my machine. I ahve checked man gcc and man cc. But it's not there. Can someone help me

I also have no man page for gcc on my box but if I would look for more information there will be plenty of pages of info for gcc on the web I bet.

I got the gcc.tar.bz2 file . i extracted these file. Right now i am in gcc dir. What i will do next.

sorry bro!! i use ubuntu linux..and apt (advanced packaged tool) utility works fine in it...and comes by default...so try for searching any 'configuration' or installation files .....and run it..
