i use the command :
ufsdump 0cfu /backup/c1t1d0s2 ...

My problem is that when i reboot the system i can't connect to the network because my ethernet ( hme0 ) is down , i must up it by ifconfig command

after reboot :

# ifconfig -a
lo0:...

I asked because with the above alias path i received the same error :

i had similar problem with XP installation on sata HD .... i resolved the problem with the drive of the controller , because XP doesn't have it .
