I bought today Microsoft Wired Keyboard 200.Classic standard. Works great. All keys are working, also | and ~ if you ask.This one i can tell fits for HP zx6000 worksation.

Solved. Problem is my keyboard. I swap it to HP KU-0316 model and key`s autorepeat works fine.

xset -r doesn`t help

When i use any terminal normal or in safe mode i don`t have autorepeat. Autorepeat works well when i`m in EFI but in OS it disappear.

Problem is that i don`t have any HP...

Peasant: you don`t understand my problem. Problem is that on hpux on my zx6000 workstation i don` have autorepeat when any of keyboard keys is presed longer.

In CDE is just the same. But it is ok...

This is hp zx6000 as i previously wrote. I mean Dell monitor and generic USB keyboard connected directly to the workstation using graphic card not a console.

What i want to know is that does HP-UX...

I`m talking about direct terminal access (or i should say system console output) with keyboard attached to my hp zx6000. I want to use it as a workstation, not remotely and missing character...

Hi i have hp-ux 11.23i and in terminal there is no characters autorepeat when i keep keyboard key pressed longer. Where can i change that? Can it be changed at all?

I didn`t try that. I will and send an answer how it behave but that isn`t an workaround, i want to use it locally not remote.

I don`t know Tru64 at all. But i think you can use timezone just like you need if it exists in your system. Is there any that would fit?
I guess that you haven`t got support contract?

Obvious things first
- you haven`t changed your windows keyboard locales recently
- sure you have access denied instead of connection timeout ( is ssh working? )
- what about console access is...

Take attention that load avg differs from other systems.

I boot from the CD i get first boot menu ( i can choose Install/Install(expert)/Rescue modes) after i choose one of above i see messages like :
