make install clean


If you dont have ports already you can do:


cd /usr/src
fetch...

You dont just ping ports. You would have to add a lot of code so it knows what to look for. If it didn't get a certain response then it would mark it as down and email you. Im sure there are scripts...

I dont know what os you use but the syntax for ping doesnt work on any os that I use.

I had to change it to:

ping $1 -q -c 2

You need to do your break down on the for loop at the bottom not in the functions themselves.
