I'm new to UNIX....

I'm running SCO UNIX and would like to disable routed daemon from being start at boot time.

How should I do this????? Please help.

I do daily backups running a shell script. I use 6 different tapes for each day (monday through saturday).

First of all I insert the tape then run the script and when it finished I eject the tape....

I will want to disable all the ports not needed in my UNIX.

If I put a # sign at the beginning of the line of the port name I want to disable in /etc/services.... that's all????? Or I need to do...
