Printing to Windows 7 using Samba 2.0.3 via VPN connection to SCO 3.2v5.0.6

I would like to know if anyone has a way to PRINT TO a printer attached to a Windows 7 PC, from SCO, while logged in via a VPN connection.

I am able to attach to a Samba share on the SCO server for files while attached to the VPN, so I know my Samba is workling - but my print jobs return:

Added interface ip=192.168.110.20 bcast=192.168.110.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
session request to 192.168.110.193 failed
session request to *SMBSERVER failed

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !!

Manually run 'smbclient' and see if the authorization works. Vista, and I assume Windows 7 use a different password algorithm. You might find it easier to use an lpr/lpd printer connection instead of smb.

Yes, msbclient and smbstatus on the server both "see" the Windows 7 PC - and I can successfully map a drive on the PC to the SCO server. I just can not get samba to communicate a print job to the PC /SHARE. Thanks for your suggestion.
