Linux not logging into GUI
hi,
Can someone help in trouble shooting why my RedHat linux 8.0 in not logging into the KDE screen.

I am not sure if the above mentioned version has the same commands, but what seems happened is; you might have "accidentally" removed the rpm's for KDE. If that is the case, you can just install the KDE rpm's and it should be fine.. just open a command line terminal and login as root, or type su and enter your password. Then enter command:

yum install kde

if that command successfully installs KDE environment, you should be able to login to KDE screen.
