Question CPU Utilization and Memory Utilization of Services and Applications
Hi,

i am new to linux/RHEL 6.0 and i have two questions.

1) How to get the CPU utilization and Memory Utilization of all Services running currently?


2) How to get the CPU utilization and Memory Utilization of all Applications running currently?

Please help me to find the script.

Hi,

As a a quick heads up, you can run top or use vmstat they should both be available.

You can look at the Nagios plugins that I just placed in this article.
Especially look at the commands in the shell scripts
  • check_vmem.sh
  • check_load5.sh
  • check_cpu_stats.sh
