Rpm not working

Hi All,

I am having RHEL 5.4 64-bit OS. When I run the command "rpm --help" I get the following error. Please help:

I'm cofused, didnt know that rpm requires lua, as this message seems like...

Did you try to install glibc?

sudo yum install -y glibc

If that doesnt work what is the output of:
Code:
rpm -qa rpm

and
Code:
su
yum history list| grep -ie erea -ie dele -ie remo
