RedHat Streaming Server over Red Hat

Hi guys,

What is the best server for media streaming over network, when I googled some stuff I found that most of these articles talk about VLC, and according to what I know that is VLC is a third party application, and I don't know actually if there any standard linux streaming server. Anyway, my question is what is the most reliable streaming server can be used under Linux environment?

Thanks..

Hye leo,

If you need Mmedia streaming with good performance and speed... you may check for some streaming provider if you do not want to host it your own. Many of companies do offer the streaming like streamzillacdn , wowza , hostripples.com these are some of best service providers you can think of.

I am not sure if i answer your query but this is what i think of. Smilie

Thanks man, you already added more information for something I don't know. However, I try to create a streaming server for the employees in my company, they are less than 100 hundred listener.

Thanks.
