FTP drag & drop

I have enabled FTP for my RHEL 5.8 server. I want to drag a file from my windows session and drop it to the FTP browser session but I am not able to do it as the file is not dragging.

I hope my query is clear that the drag & drop from the windows session to the FTP browser session running on Red Hat Linux is not working.

Please revert with the reply to my query.

Regards

Not clear. Are you sitting in front of a windows PC, or what do you mean by windows session? And what be the FTP session?

Hi,

Yes, I am sitting in front of a Windows PC. Windows session is the Mozilla browser session running on the Windows PC. The FTP session is the URL like

Code:
ftp://10.101.17.80

running on the RHEL server.

Hope, this clarifies as I have tried to put it in very simple terms.

Regards

That's a windows issue, not unix/linux/redhat related.

There's a plugin for Firefox that has full drag & drop support: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireftp/
