OpenSUSE installation using RHEL / CentOS Kickstart

Hi guys

I have CentOS installed on my server. I have also installed TFTP server, DHCP server. I am able to install CentOS on remote machines using PXE boot and kickstart cfg file.

I would like to install OpenSUSE using CentOS kickstart file. How do I do it ? I am also fine with any other kickstart technique as long as OpenSUSE installation goes through CentOS.

I do not want to go with AutoYaST

Please share a How-To

Regards
Sohail

OpenSUSE does not use kickstart.

What do you mean Opensuse install goes through CentOS? Unless you are doing this as a virtual machine, I believe you are horribly confused.

You are basically on your own if you do not want to use AutoYaST.

If you really want to use kickstart, it can be done. For starters, look for the pykickstart port to SUSE.
