word & spreadsheet processor?

Dear All
Can you please propose me for word & spreadsheet processors for my RedHat (like word & excel for Windows) ?

There are in fact many options for you. OpenOffice would come to mind, but I am personally not very impressed with it. Another option is the ASP model, such as Google docs, which have their limitations, but will get you a long way. If you more of the desktop type, then both gnumeric and abiword would come to mind and combined with a powerful editor such as geany, you are likely to cater to all needs.
