PATH value

Hello,
In one instance which is running on 4.8 echo $PATH value set /usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/testhome/uatdb/bin
and another instance when i run echo $PATH value set is
echo $PATH

What is your problem exactly? What do you mean by "instance"? what is "4.8" ? ...

I am currently working on R12.1.2 on Linux 4.8 i want to activate Oracle Enterprise Manager but when i run em activate command it gives error
[vision@vis 11.1.0]$ emca -config dbcontrol db -repos create
/vis/VIS/db/tech_st/11.1.0/bin/emca: line 74: /testhome/testdb/TEST/db/tech_st/11.1.0/jdk/bin/java: No such file or directory
and when i echo $PATH in another O.S this show
echo $PATH value set /usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/testhome/uatdb/bin
and another system which i want to activate Oracle Enterprise Manager it's gives
echo $PATH

The path is set from from one of the files .profile, or .bashrc, or .bash_profile (or equivalent for your shell) from your home directory. I believe the sequence the files are run upon login are as above (experts please correct me if I am wrong). If none of these are present in your home, you are inheriting from the system /etc/skel/.*rc or other skel files. Your question is not clear enough though.
