Linux console

Dear All,

I have some Linux Servers in Data Center.

I can access those servers through Telent or Putty.

But If i want to work on the console I cannot do that.

How to configure Console access for my Linux Server , So that I can work on the Console if it goes in to Single User mode.

Thanks and Regards

Console Access

What you say does not make the need clear. WHY can you not access the console? Do you mean REMOTE console access, or is there a problem logging in at the local keyboard? Does the monitor display a GUI login prompt?

Whether or not you can remotely access your servers in single-user mode depends on the manufacturer. Some provide a means of remote access, some do not. But Linux per se does not support this, as there is no networking enabled in single-user mode.
