Went through ASMI in standby mode

1) clear all the logs
2) Configured the deconfigured memory modules

Power off the machine completely

Power on the machine.

run
smitty ==> Software Installation and Maintenance ==> Software Maintenance and Utilities ==> Remove Installed Software

remove the following filesets

openssh.base.client ...

try topas or nmon
shows you what you are looking for.

yeah, you need the PowerVM / VIOS Virtualization feature code on the machine, otherwise it will not work. The FC is encoded in the Serial Number of the machine.
There is no way around.
