Eric's Questions and Answers Blog

I hope this is ok so I will ask if I may use this thread to ask questions about
programming.
May I use this thread to ask questions and answer questions?

If the answer is yes, this is a thread made for minimizing the amount of threads I post to
ask questions about programming. Please feel free to subscribe to this thread, ask
questions on this thread, and answer questions nicely whilst browsing this forum.

It would be not that good if this thread will get a length of let's say 200 posts as nobody will be able to find out on which page which information is they seek. Also nobody will start reading a 200 post thread.

We usually handle 1 per thread and more than 1 if it is from the same person asking and belongs to the same kind of topic. Thread hijacking is not welcome to this forum as well.

If you want to have a blog, there is free blogging websites available like www.blogspot.com.

this is the wrong sub-forum for asking programming related questions! if you've a question, ask in the right sub-forum.

thread closed!

Just to clarify - I moved that thread from the Programming sub forum to here and left a link, but the OP might have overseen that. I cut out the code question and moved it to the Programming sub forum again.
