Closing a thread

hi,

Just wondering if there could be a way to close threads whose creator has got the desired reply.

however if someone still wants to give a remark or suggest further on the thread one can still do so.

Besides on the control panel there should be some kind of selection criteria to view reopened threads of the forums registered to.

I know this could be a pains taking job for the administrators, but this can help those who can identify closed threads and wish not to see them.

Regards

www.elance.com

If you have a new feature you want, you may feel free to:

(1) Write an SOW for the feature;

(2) Post for the UNIX.COM team to review;

(3) After approval, visit www.elance.com and contract and pay for the feature development.

This is a free site and you are welcome to specify, contract, manage and fund the changes you like. (all modifications become the sole property of UNIX.COM, BTW)

You will get a special credit in a new TBD section that might be called the 'UNIX.COM CREDITS.'

Alternatively to elance, you might consider other vBulletin development sources like www.vbulletin.com ....

In other words, if you want something bad enough, you should be willing to create and fund it .....we are all in this together and we generate NO income from this site. because it is COMMERCIAL FREE Smilie
