META Predicts Microsoft Will Offer Linux Software

I would lay dollar to donuts (Hmmmm, donuts) that Microsoft would go with .NET web services on FreeBSD before they ever touched Linux. The BSD license is much more Microsoft friendly. Microsoft has already released source code for their C# CLI compiler ("Rotor") under FreeBSD and I have heard rumors about the porting of .NET to FreeBSD.
