ldlseek(3x)															       ldlseek(3x)

Name
       ldlseek, ldnlseek - seek to line number entries of a section of a common object file

Syntax
       #include <stdio.h>
       #include <filehdr.h>
       #include <syms.h>
       #include <ldfcn.h>

       int ldlseek (ldptr, sectindx)
       LDFILE *ldptr;
       unsigned short sectindx;

       int ldnlseek (ldptr, sectname)
       LDFILE *ldptr;
       char *sectname;

Description
       The function seeks to the line number entries of the section specified by sectindx of the common object file currently associated with
       ldptr.

       The function seeks to the line number entries of the section specified by sectname.

       The and functions return success or failure. Line numbers are not associated with sections in the MIPS symbol table; therefore, the second
       argument is ignored, but maintained for historical purposes. If they cannot seek to the specified line number entries, both routines fail.
